The Journey is a compilation of new singles (Side A) and unreleased recordings of four new songs the band had in the can (Sibe B). This is a one-of-a-kind vinyl release with tracks that cannot be heard anywhere else.
Kalu & The Electric Joint blend the powers of psychedelic soul, rock n roll, and the ancient rhythms of Africa. Born and raised in Nigeria, Kalu James immigrated to the United States at the age of 18 and relocated to Austin, Texas where he put together a stellar group of players who graciously fuel and follow his deep well of electric influences.
